This myspace is for promotion of the Between the Lines comic. We do claim an agenda to try and get people to understand transsexualism in at least one aspect. We do not try and tackle the entire transgender "community" though we do have other characters in the comic who are trans in other ways. We are mainly interested in shining a human light on a people who are often misunderstood and to show that no matter how different society precieves them to be they are actually just like everyone else, they have their bad and good times, their wants and desires over what they want out of their lifes just like anyone else cause when it comes down to it the most normal thing in this world is to be human and all the challenges that present.
Between the Lines is a collection of stories made into a single coherent story with characters that are most often based on real people and real situations. We do not make it fluffy. We do not show silly unrealistic situations. We are only interested in the truth, and the truth more often than not hurts but with truth also comes a humanizing effect...what we're basically saying is that this is not a story for kids, this is not a story to read if you want your funny bone tickled. There might be profound revalations for you, you will be offended. Sometimes you'll love the characters and at other times you'll hate them, we are not in the business in making perfect characters for you to look up to but maybe, hopefully you will relate to them...
Hopefully one day this comic will be on the bookshelves of psychologists dealing with young transitioners and discussed between them about how easy it is to take the wrong road. Hopefully one day it will be discussed in lectures about TSs. Hopefully one day this comic will help stop someone from wanting to hurt a transsexual.
That being said, if you expect to be added to the myspace then here is a list of what we will not allow!
-No sexual content on your page unless it's private(There are 14 year olds on this site! For goodness sake keep it in your pants!)
-You will be added if you give us no reason to believe that you're only joining to use us as a gateway to contact other TGs.
-You will not be added if we think you're here to "whack off" to the characters(They're 14 at this point in the story you sickos!)
-Basically if you try to add us for any sexual reason then you will not be added.
-If you have excessive cussing on your front page you will not be added.
-You will not be added if you have any crude images or images that are deemed too disturbing on your front page.
-Of course you will not be added if you're agenda is to put up walls(but hey adding us shows that you're trying to understand =P)
About FTM Book Vol. 1 FTM Book Vol 1: A Basic Introduction to Transman Life is an easy-to-understand, yet comprehensive primer on FTM issues such as:
What is an FTM? How do FTMs see themselves? Appearance Stages in Transition Surgeries Available Common Personal Histories Violence Discrimination Health Issues Counseling Relationships Common Legal Issues
We've worked hard to help create definitions that will help you talk about trans issues with others, including terms for body parts unique to the FTM and by naming the stages of transitioning. This book is great for anyone who who is having trouble understanding the lifestyle or choices of a transperson. When we first began dating, we were shocked that there was no one place that he (Aaron) could turn to show me (Crystal) "See, this explains what being an FTM means." We hope that this book will be a good start.
Best of all, when you order FTM Book Vol. 1: A Basic Introduction to Transman Life you can feel good knowing that sales of the book are being used to fund more research to help FTMs and their partners get through the challenges of their lives. This is a great book for youself and for anyone you know who could use a little more understanding. Also, you can help teach others about trans issues by donating copies to your local high schools, colleges, LGBT centers and libraries.

For all you have done to make the world a better place for Transgenders I am sincerly asking for your assistance in my cause. I am part of a cause that gives mental, emotional and sometimes (Not required) financial support to the families of fallen soldiers over seas. As a single parent I understand how much time, effort and money it takes to raise one child alone let alone the 2, 3, sometimes more children left behind by a father or mother who passed on overseas. I am not asking for any financial support or donations from you just that you atleast consider adding yourselves to the cause to show the families who are suffering that you understand and care... Thank You for reading this
You Guys... and Gals are helping change how the world treats Trans women and men one mind at a time. I was one of them. Keep up the good work folks. Thank You All So Much!
