Tony Bianco was born in New York City. His Father being a drummer and his Grandfather being a guitarist.Tony is described "as a true master of the drums" an educator described Tony as "a spiritual drummer" he said "Tony's style derives from Jazz but has a very spiritual and mysterious undertone."
In 1992-96 Tony went to live in Berlin,Germany where he started to play with some of the free improvisers in Europe .In 96 he moved to England where he now lives .
Tony has acclaimed recordings in both improvised and contemporary genres in Jazz.
Tony has played and or recorded with Alex Von Schlippenbach ,Elton Dean, Evan Parker, Dave Liebman, Luther Thomas, Paul Dunmall, Paul Rogers, Herb Robertson, Paul Rutherford, Marcio Mattos and many more.
