THIS IS A FAN SITE, AND IS NOT RUN BY THE BIG BOYS!! Thank- you for reading this.

Thanks for the add, guys. I called Biscuit a few years ago and kept meaning to go by and see him when I was in town, but alas. The time we all worked at Kinkos together with him was the best "real job" we ever spent. We started playing together about the same time you guys did, only we all had to learn our instruments first, and never really did, but it was Tim's and Randy's and Fred's encouragement that really pushed us forward. Hope to see a Tim Kerr or Chris Gates show soon.
Please let all of your friends know about the importance of contesting the proposed noise ordinance in austin that is endangering the entire music scene in Austin!! This is not to be taken lightly--there are BILLIONS of dollars at stake, and real estate developers are extremely powerful!!If it passes, it would be akin to outlawing Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Broadway in Manhattan, gambling in Vegas or country music in Nashville. Don't let this happen, folks!! Please attend the Austin Music Commision’s Town Hall Meeting on Monday, Nov. 5 (at 7pm at Momo’s, which is just above Katz’s Deli at 618 W. 6th Street (512-479-8848). If at all possible, bring others with you If you absolutely cannot attend, you can write to the members of the Austin Music Commission, and to the Mayor and the City Council expressing your concerns:

I first met the Big Boys in a little club down a dark alley in Cleveland. I was in a Rockabilly band called the Kingpins. We walked into the club all dressed in our cute lil 50's gear and there was this punk/funk show going on. Everyone in the joint looked at us like they wanted to rip us apart. The band finished and Chris walked up to us and somehow knew who we were. Everyone backed off and we breathed a sigh of relief as were outnumbered. Chris invited us to do some shows down in Houston with them and we did. We had a blast and years later he was in Junkyard and I was Little Caesar. I'll never forget his hospitality and how those guys could rip the roof off the joint. The Big Boys did THE greatest version of Hollywood Swingin ever!!
