Big Fat Lukum is born in August 2006 by the encounter of Bastoch and Greg. Both are guitarists and their mutual taste for rock music makes them closer. They first decide to play some covers together just for fun.
But the wish of composing theirs own songs is quickly coming. That’s why Dos joins the band to play the bass with them.
The trio works hard and some ideas are set in music. In view of the rock style that appears the lack of a drummer is fast felt.
After some unfruitful trials Oli permanently joins them to finalise their first album called “Rockshout” out in October 2007.
Stronger and stronger everyday Big Fat Lukum is looking for the most lives as possible to share his passion with the public. The band offers an energetic set of around sixty minutes which is made of great rock and enchanting slows.
The second album is on preparation and is going to be again more powerful than the first one.

Big Fat Lukum est né en aout 2006 de la rencontre de Bastoch et de Greg. Leur gout pour le blues et le rock les rapproche, et ils tentent de monter un groupe. Ils décident tout d'abord de faire quelques reprises, juste pour le plaisir.
L'envie de faire des compositions ne se faisant pas
attendre longtemps, Dos les rejoint aussitot. Nous voilà donc avec un trio. Quelques idées se mettent en place.
Après avoir composé quelques chansons, le manque d'un batteur se fait ressentir, vu le style musical rock qui se dessine. Après quelques essais infructueux, c'est Olivier qui se joint définitivement au groupe pour terminer la mise en place du premier album.

Forts de leurs expériences passées, Big Fat Lukum est aujourd'hui prêt pour la scène. Ils proposent un set énergique de +/- 60 minutes allant du rock dur au slows les plus entétants.
Après quelques concerts concluants, ils cherchent aujourd'hui à se produire au maximum et à partager leur énergie avec un public toujours grandissant.
Le premier album est sorti en septembre 2007, nommé "Rockshout", et à été très bien accueilli. Le deuxième album est en préparation, et vous pouvez déjà en entendre quelques titres en Live.
