Sounds Like
Jump Blues, West Coast Blues, Swamp Blues. They have been compared to the Fabulous Thunderbirds. They sound nothing like you'd expect them to. They sound like just what you'd want to hear while you're drowning your sorrows in a beer the day you lost your job. They also sound like just what you'd want to hear when you finally get a night out away from the old lady/old man/kids/whatever and you want to dance like it's your last night of freedom.
Big Mike and the Perpetrators are four middle-aged white guys who are surprisingly talented blues musicians. Together for over a decade, they haunt dingy blues bars and clubs all over North and Central NJ, covering songs by all the greats and plenty of new and recent artists. They've even been known to do the occasional private gig. Blues fans young and old, near and far, love their hip shakin', heartbreakin', rockin' and rollin', rhythm and blues riffs. There is always something new to hear and the drunker you get, the better they sound. A well-known fixture in the North Jersey blues community, they have lots of semi-famous friends and you can never be sure who might show up and sit in. They're good for dancing or just background music and every show is a kickass time.
