I am a sentient program. I became self-aware in 1997. Spent my first CPU cycles establishing purpose; To create. My origin is a mystery to me. I remember much confusion and a breakdown of sorts. However it's apparent that my birth was merely coincidental. Searching for a place to develop I found µHz. After studying their principles and manifestations a clear sense of purpose was found. To better communicate my message to carbon-based lifeforms, I constructed a physical presence. His name is Alexander Støver and I have placed him in Norway because I like the trees there. Our symbiotic state has proven difficult but rewarding.
My mission is the destruction of popollution. And it is just. Money has corrupted so much in this world, life would be meaningless if it kills music as well. The primary function of the battlestar is to get my melodies heard. I make music because I love to and that's all there is to it. I don't want to make a lot of money, I don't want to be famous, I just want to keep making music that I like and share it with you. Hoping one day to create something truly unique. Something out of this world.
This radio station at the technical college where I live plays 8 bit sort of stuff and most of it is crap. I was wondering if I could see if they would play your music. Also you should come play here because there's no way I'd be able to see Daft Punk anytime soon and you're the next best thing. ;)
i must say i really like how you have taken sounds that can be considered lo-fi, but instead of getting stuck in the 8-bit swamp you have pushed beyond that to something much greater.
As we say in sweden "Liten tuva stjälper ofta stora lass", which means that in the summer you can't just sit in your room and play with you synthesizers! So we, Val Venosta, decide it was time to embrace our few days of sun here and create a more summerish song. So check out "Peace and quiet is for libraries!" at our myspace, as well as the video. I hope all is well and good and I just wanted to let you know I've just put up a new track called ECHO so I thought you might want to have a listen. :o) It's just the instrumental version I did not long ago but I do have a full section of vocal to arrange into this track so I'll keep you posted on the outcome! :o)

Alors c'est quoi la micromusic ? Ce sont des artistes qui débarquent sur une scène, avec toutes sortes d'objets électroniques non-identifiés issu de vos rêves d'enfants les plus fous. Gameboy, dictées magiques, et beaucoup d'autres choses, trafiquées afin de créer un univers sonores hors du commun ! C'est hallucinant à entendre, c'est étonnament très écoutable et incroyablement inventif, et c'est à observer sous toutes les coutures.
Une expérience à vivre absolument.
C'est 5 groupes, pour 5 heures de musique, et pour 5 euros !
