Biosystem 55 is an Italian band that has been active on the underground music scene since 2001. This is a band that has always been fighting to bring its voice to the masses while its members have always lived a strong, fraternal union. Thanks to this special relationship many webzines and trade magazines have been giving them credit throughout the years. In their music, Biosystem 55 speaks out against the moral degradation of our society in the last years, mainly with respect to core values such as passion, devotion, perseverance and sacrifice. Biosystem 55 defines their style as energy, not evilness.
The band has previously released one full length album and 3 unreleased promos. The cover of Michael Sembello’s “Maniac” is present in the third promo, from which a video has also been made, and was broadcasted by MTV Italy and Allmusic Channel. With the experience of the previous albums, Biosystem 55 has gradually come into their own, reaching a deeper dimension of musicality. Their new self produced album “Get Ready for the Next Battle” reflects the bands earlier metal influence but combines with a new melodic crossover style. The end result is an album with a full composition, reflective lyrics, and a balanced mixing of styles; melody with a bite.
