Last year, the stars exploded and the mountains crumbled when 8-Bit Genocide took place at Load of Fun Studios in Baltimore, MD. JD and Chris of E.S. spent the last bits of their sanity putting together the event and in the end all was very much worth it. Five bands, three artists, and countless games shook the earth that night. Everyone had an amazing time and the turn out was much higher than we had expected. We tallied over 130 attendees! There was much drunken rocking, antics, and fun and even OC Remix's podcast came and interviewed all of the bands after the show. We were also happy to have the Play Video Game Music Documentary team come out and film all band performances for their project. All in all, the entire show went over with a perfection that we could barely believe.

32-BIT GEN! AUG 16th 2008!!!'s Friend Space (Top 16)
well shit, i thought i was going to be able to display all 17 SPO paintings at 32-bit genocide, but some dude from australia is buying them all from me. i guess the prints will just have to do.
Hey dudes! I talked to Levi about 32BG, and whatever happens he offered to bring down some of my new work for the show. I can't say 100% yet whether or not I can come myself, but I'll definitely have some work for you to put up.
the line up from last year would be bad ass again.
Defiantly try to get protomen and anamanaguchi back. i would come back down there just for ES PG and those two.
the megas would be cool
so would be The NESkimos
year 200x cant forget about them
The Konami Kode is another band from mass. there on the lighter side but still good.
I think you guys should try to make it longer and fit more bands in. i know it would probably cost more for the venue but im sure people would be pay a higher ticket price for more bands.
the artist kicked ass two. I didn't expect to be spending as much as i did but once i saw 8 bit artist stuff up close i couldn't resist.
ya so if any of that helps. or if theres anything i can do to help you guys out let me know.
(First) Friday, October 5th is the opening reception for Buy Somethin' Will Ya!, my first solo show. Among other things, I will have an 8-bit triptych inspired by THE BIG LEBOWSKI. Dude, I hope you can make it. Dude.
