It's been said before, but we've got quite a broad background between the of us. Everything from Lamb of God to Pink Floyd has added to who we are today. We like to think that we're influenced by EVERYTHING we've heard so far. Something that we think is crap can influence us, even if it's to not sound like that. It's where the term Test-tube Metal comes from. We take all this stuff that we've heard and loved and throw it into a vile, shake it up and hope it don't explode. . . and when it does it's even more exciting!

Kinda like: Sytem of A Down, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Lamb of God, KORN, Mushroomhead and many, many others blended together with a little bit of hillbilly thrown in.
Black Buffalo is the enigmatic young band from Windyville, Missouri, that's quickly taking over the world. This energetic heavy metal experience is kin to no other bringing together sounds from many different styles of metal, and other music to create their own genre, Test-tube Metal!!! With five members in the band (2-Guitars, 1 Vox, Bass/back-up vox & Drums) and all with very diverse musical back grounds, we tend to keep our sound evolving from 1 song to the next, never quite locking ourselves into a certain genre of metal. In the two years we've been together Black Buffalo has played and headlined with a few national acts, like Hemlock and 12 Volt Negative Earth, and have just released our first album titled, Windyville Massacre. . . Scalped Earth, ( available at http://www.cdbaby.com/blackbuffalo ). Though the only way to truly appreciate Black Buffalo is to see us in concert. We bring the same excitement and emotion we feel when writing the music, to the stage (or the floor area that's roped off for the stage, LOL)! Thrashing and headbanging, somtimes bleeding, we battle through our sets with the crowds churning into frenzies of crazed fans moshing and throwing down in the pit . . . Come, join the Revolution before it's to late!!!
