"Influences"? dunno. here's some bands we have spend millions of hours listening to: the cure, u2, echo & the bunnymen, massive attack, the prodigy, psychedelic furs, radiohead, new order, placebo, rem, chris whitley, throwing muses, kruder & dorfmeister, phoenix, tricky, bob the dylan, black lab (for search purposes), zombies...
Sounds Like
everything from epic english stuff like u2 & live & coldplay & snow patrol to (apparently) more american stuff like goo goo dolls, better than ezra, collective soul, dishwalla, etc., from post-grunge to weepy folk rock, from techno-laced noiz to pristine pop. increasingly eclectic.
............yes, we are BLACK LAB, american rock band, purveyor of the nineties hits "wash it away" & "time ago." yes, we have a second album, the follow up to 'your body above me.' it's called 'see the sun' and a lot of people seem to like it. sorry it took so long... anyway, click here to see it and here to hear an eight song preview in your computer's audio player.

we also put out an album of new electronica, techno-rock & remixes last year called 'technologie.' for those who don't know or have stumbled on this site or are friends of friends or are black lab scholars with ph.d.'s in black lab: we made a record on geffen called "your body above me" with a couple songs you might have heard ("wash it away," "time ago"). we were also on a bunch of soundtracks ('buffy,' 'can't hardly wait,' varsity blues,' permanent midnight,' more recently, 'blade: trinity.') anyway, then we made a record on epic that never came out so we released it ourselves. it is fabulous and can be purchased from our website (we ship worldwide) or, for instant gratification, download it from iTunes.

Mackenzie and Ricky are getting married in May. How have you been doing? We are going Saturday and start looking at dresses. They didn't give me much notice but thats Mackenzie, right? LOL Oh hey! I already took the pics to be printed lol! Some of them were soo freakin hilarious! And i loved the picture of us ... it was sooo cute..so yah, guess what?
