BLACK PRESIDENT is a band founded on the belief that the human race is angry, greedy, simple & ugly. we believe in educating ourselves, treating the world & people around us with the same respect we would take from it. we are not "politically correct", we're just not ignorant.
OUR NAME AND BARACK OBAMA (based on a blog posted several months before the 2008 election)
it was originally intended to be a middle finger to the redneck bush administration. we're not self-loathing whites or anti-american...we love this fucking country. having spent all of our adult lives playing for people all over america we know its cities, small towns, main streets & back alleys better than any of the puppets competing to run it. and as much as we care about america we also know that it is in dire need of a complete overhaul.
when we came up with the name of the band senator obama had not yet announced his intention to run for office. it was just our way of saying america needed a change & we could think of nothing more indictative of change in a racist, soulless system than a BLACK PRESIDENT.
the sad truth is we don't support ANY of the candidates at this point.
...if you still don't understand there's probably a big mac and an episode of dr. phil somewhere with your name on it.

Black president like a Muh Fuhka, I got the album a few days ago and it is ridiculous. This is up there with the classics for sure. You all will go down as one of the greats. Any thing else in the works?

We're a 'Street Rock n Roll' band based out of Dayton, OH. Since 2006 we've been combining Rock 'n Roll, Punk, Metal, and Glam to make our original sound. We just released a new record 'Shotgun Hero' on our own label, and toured the Mid-West and East Coast.

Hadn't heard you before the gig man, but it really blew me away, was your last gig man and kept up the energy when loads of bands fail at that stage so thanks.
Is there any way you guys can write a song about what a horrible person Michael Vick is, and how fucked up our society is that he can still make an obscene amount of money despite what he did? Also, if there's any possibility of you guys throwing in a line that amounts to something like "death to health insurance companies", that would be fantastic. I've just been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and am about to lose everything. Hope I can finally see you guys play sometime before I get to sick.
