Blade of Terror

Polski zespół grający ciężki, ale melodyjny thrash-death metal z wpływami innych gatunków ciężkiej muzyki. Blade of Terror wymienia jako swoje inspiracje m. in: Slayer, Death, Sepultura, Pantera, Lamb of God, Metallica, Megadeth, Obituary.

W marcu 2004 roku połączyły się dwie kapele: grający thrashowe covery Bloodspawn z Piaseczna i nienazwana warszawska kapela grająca thrash-metal z elementami death. Po kilku zmianach składu zespół przyjął nazwę Blade of Terror, a trzydziestego listopada 2004 zagrał w Warszawie pierwszy koncert. Wtedy rozpoczęła się prawdziwa działalność kapeli.

Zespół dzielił scenę m.in. z takimi artystami jak: Kat, Sceptic, Virgin Snatch, Vermin (Holandia), Insurrection Down (Brazylia), Morda (Belgia), Hedfirst, Face of Reality, Pyorrhoea, Pandemonium, Dragon’s Eye, Vedonist, Chaosphere.

W połowie 2007 roku zespół Blade of Terror nagrał pierwszą studyjną płytę demo „The Harvest Has Begun”. Pod koniec roku płytę promował szereg koncertów, m.in w Czechach. W roku 2008 zespół zagrał ogólnopolską trasę koncertową „Tour to Perdition” obejmującą 10 koncertów na Mazowszu, Podkarpaciu i w Małopolsce.

Obecnie zespół pracuje nad nowym materiałem studyjnym.

Blade of Terror is a Polish thrash-death metal band, heavy as f**k though with a glimpse of melody. Their main inspirations are Slayer, Death, Sepultura, Pantera, Lamb of God, Metallica, Megadeth, Obituary and many others.

In March 2004 the band was formed from the clash of two bands from Warsaw: Bloodspawn, who used to play Sodom, Kreator and Slayer covers and other thrash-death act without a name. After few line-up changes they called themselves Blade of Terror and on 30th November 2004 they first hit the stage.

BoT shared the stage with such bands as Kat & Roman Kostrzewski, Virgin Snatch, Sceptic, Pyorrhoea, Pandemonium, Dragon’s Eye, Vedonist, Hedfirst, Face of Reality as well as with Vermin (Netherlands), Insurrection Down (Brasil), Morda (Belgium).

In the middle of 2007 Blade of Terror recorded the first demo 'The Harvest Has Begun'. The recording was promoted by several shows in Poland and in Czech Republic. In 2008 the band played their first tour around Poland, visiting places such as Warsaw, Cracow, Rzeszow, Sandomierz, Nowy Sacz, Tarnobrzeg, Stalowa Wola, Tarnow.

Currently the band is working on their debut album.

The harvest is yet to begin!
