Blänk would like to thank all the blogs, media and especially the fans who have made a hell of a year for us! A lot of love on the blog-world, 2 singles on national radio, our videos have now reached 400.000 views in total and the album has now reach over 30.000 downloads. Thank u! Media from Holland, Sweden, USA and Denmark have done the story about us poor laplanders from the north - and our first album got great reviews! In december we aim to do a small tour in Sweden and Denmark, and hopefully we can get to New York, Atlanta and Bogota (Colombia) next year. Talk is going on about that! We went from kids to Eurotrash.
But first we were born and raised in the very north of sweden, right by the arctic circle, in Swedish lappland.
You now, among the raindeers and the swedish aboriginals. Were its cold as fuck (like Russia, but worse) and when its dark its dark all 24 hours of every day, and when its sunny, the sun never goes down.
Its small here too. Not much people and nobody really cares about us. Except the european union (EU) - they give us a lot of free money. Cause were like so far from everybody else in the world, and they are worried that we will feel sad and stop producing iron and hockey-players for the NHL.
But we dont complain. We dont do that up here. But we dream, oh yes we do.
