Reviews:
The Dead Wire:
"You'll find a great selection of effective riffs, sound musical ideas and solid vocals (the latter of which hold an impressive range of screaming pitch) peaking from amidst the down-tuned breaks. Bursting with open string rhythms guaranteed to get kids headbanging, their music is both aggressive and relatively technical, higher guitar lines as numerous as the heavier riffs below them. Falling somewhere in between Bring Me The Horizon and Poison the Well, Bleed Like Me boast some addictive tracks that hold the potential to seriously get a floor moving."
Own Blood Magazine:
"An energetic five-pice from essex who are always guaranteed to get a crowd moving, with their fast technical riffs and their brutal breakdowns creating a monstorous sound that even the devil would nod his head to!"
The way we percieve ourselves at the moment is that of a realitivly "established band" with our current line-up being together since October 2007, when new drummer Chris Fleuty joined the Bleedlikeme ranks. In the past year and a half since the band originally formed we've played many great venues with many great bands and racked up many fans and friends along the way. We have been lucky enough to play with such bands as, Enter Shikari, Centurion, Eternal Lord, Gallows and Azriel, Khalo, Many Things Untold etc.
Bleedlikeme consist of four Tiptree boys and a Dirty Witham boy. Nic began the band many years ago with ex bassist Tim , all they played were covers of G N R, MXPX and many Ska songs with ex bassist Tim. Sam, Chris and Phil [replacing Tim as he left for University] joined bringing their own style and influences to the table which have aided and progressed to the sound that is demonstrated on the new Release. The first release was recorded with ex-drummer Luke who left towards the end of 2007!
Our First demo recorded titled "Draining The Fifth" sold out very quickly and didn't go into reprint. Since Fleuty joined, bringing a more abstract, technically able confidence to the band, our style has progressed for the better giving us a chance to reach out to a wider public. The four tracks made were recorded at CDS Studios in Chelmsford and are on the new EP "The Abandonment Issue" available as a downloadable EP on our myspace player.

Happy Holidays to you. Be well. I've read that the holidays can be very depressing to some. If you know someone like that, share this with them :)
1 of the most effective "natural cures" ever documented (really) 4 depression...
Have them stand in front of a mirror...smile...bigger...no, even bigger...that's it...an honest to goodness ear 2 ear smile! Look at you...standing there...strong...powerful...nothing is impossible for you...no limitations...you are the earth...you are the sky...and they are you...now, laugh...bigger...one of those gut bursting, side hurting, deep belly laughs...that's it. :)
