The official David Bowie lunch party will be at the crack of 11:30 at Pitaria. I'll be the one at the table in the back with the red lightening bolt painted on my face.

(if you want I'll pick you up, just let me know.)

I will come over (and I'm dressing up as Jareth the Goblin King if they make wigs like that anymore.)

Katie - You are one far-out elf! Katie - All I want is a room somewhere - faraway from the cold night air - with just one enormous chair - oh wouldn't that be lovely? Lots of chocolate for me to eat - warm hands - warm heart - warm feet - Oh wouldn't that be lovely. See you later elfigator. Karen

Marshall is on vacation from the 20th until after Christmas. No pressure, but the door is open if you feel like getting something to eat with us one of those days.
  • Dec 14 2008 7:48 PM

You are definitely my kind of smartass :-)

You guys are coming up for Christmas, right? If so, we should hit Stax.

I just laughed out loud-- my updates section showed all these great pictures of old houses, et cetera... and then I look up at the title of your album and it says, "Quaint Shit in Maine." Priceless! :-)

Hey Katie! Moo! Guess what Katie - (I hope you're sitting down) There's a new Dunkin' Donuts on Greenville St. in Anderson. I'm so excited - I just can't hide it - It's about to blow my mind and I think I like it. Give me Krispy Kreme - Oh that's just a dream if you know what I mean - Krispy Kreme is just a drive by dream. But Dunkin' Donuts - that's for real oh yea that's the deal. Love ya and Moo forever

Noooo! Don't tease me with visions of Kevin Barnes singing songs in a dress! (P.S.--if I get this job I'm interviewing for soon, I am totally moving back to Tallahassee! Then I'll never miss a show again!)

Photoshopping poets is addictive! I can think of nothing else. And I must say once again that your Britney/Yeats PhotoPoem was transcendent and brilliant and should be a regular feature on Literary Makeovers...although I don't know what could ever top it.

Also, try this: Garfield minus Garfield.

It's a comic about the "empty desperation of modern life"

Wow, that was incredible. It kind of reminds me of "Marmaduke Explained," if you've ever seen that website.
The music video portion made it.

That was an excellent video (and did you see there are three more?)...also I do suck at photoshop, and am thus confined to the world of Microsoft Paint. I will say that I have pushed Paint to the very limits of artistic expression, though.

Also, your blog is awesome and I love it.

    AAAHHH! Scary!

Now my caption on that photo looks particularly insane... and wonderful. I love it despite my fright.
