Why is the best way to get to peace...shooting other people? I'm against the war on drugs, although I believe that there is a difference between marijuana, and man-made substances (including alcohol and tobacco, or other prescription drugs). I believe that coming home from work and smoking a "J" is no different - but far safer - than having a beer. Marijuana should be legal for all purposes by consenting adults, in my opinion. I'm pro-choice. I believe that women have every choice that men have already. We have the choice not to have sex, and if we are going to, then we have the choice to protect ourselves from becoming pregnant. The argument that women could get pregnant from some sexual assault or incest, while it does happen, is by FAR not the usual way one who is getting an abortion has gotten pregnant. I have no sympathy for convenience abortions, although I feel for women who feel that they have to make that decision for whatever reason. I'm outgoing and shy, depending on my mood. I like to laugh. I love having friends and having people around me. I'm a night owl. I'm a different kind of Christian from the standard, run-of-the-mill, far-right wing nutcase. I believe that Jesus Christ was the ultimate in obedient to what was important, and the ultimate revolutionary when it was called for. I believe Jesus explained why He hung out with prostitutes and tax collectors - the proud don't need Him.

    On June 8, 1967, a date which will live in infamy, a United States ship, the USS Liberty, was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the State of Israel. Thirty-four American sailors died and 174 were wounded. There was no retaliation, no honest investigation, and no assistance from American forces. Israel got away with cold blooded murder.
