Geoff Grange fronts the band with lead vocals and guitar. He worked with Bill Wyman on the albums "Struttin' our Stuff" and "Double Bill". (harp and vocals).
Simon Burrett nearly fronts the band with (some lead) vocals and (slide, amongst 7 other) guitars. (has worked extensively with Martin Barre and John Noyce of Jethro Tull fame)
Jim Rodford handles the bottom (also quite well-known as a bass guitarist - Kinks, Argent, Zombies etc)
Justin Hildreth (his myspace) plays eclectic drums (worked with Roogalator, Lene Lovich, Joan Armatrading, Thomas Dolby, Blancmange, Nina Hagen etc)
Here's a review nicked from the Movinmusic site, which says a lot about the band's vibe: click
... and here's a word from the High Barn gig we did the other day:
..."Blue Bishops visited the High Barn on 19th January 2007 and delivered a very professional and powerful evening. They opened the night with Simon Burrett on guitar playing a very tasty riff and he was soon followed by Geoff Grange, the lead singer and harp player, back the riff on a second guitar to make 'The Blue Bishops sound'. The two guitars join together to produce this very hard blues guitar sound that sung out in the wonderful acoustics of the room. Their set then continued with the full back-line sound to support Geoff's stage antics that will keep any crowds attention! Geoff also has a really special rock 'n' roll voice that just sits beautifully in amongst the powerful guitars and solid back-line. Their set comprised mainly of their own material and a few covers. I felt that even though the covers were a good choice and gave the audience something to associate with, I actually much preferred many of their own very well written tracks. After we were into the second set it came apparent to me that the one thing that sets the Bishops apart from other R&B or R&R bands is down to the dynamics and tempo of their set. They don't thrash the guitars all night, there is plenty of diversity into other styles to make it an interesting concert for all great lovers of rocky blues music".

Blue Bishops have served a decade and a half of hard-hitting blues/rock numbers to a dedicated, faithful following.
This band comprises a bunch of players who, between them, have worked with household names and global stars galore.
The music is crafted, exciting, deep-rooted and ballsy, with enough early blues and enough late acid rock to turn on everyone at the gigs.
The album DEEP has the highly rated 9/10 review from 'Blues in Britain' and was nominated as one of the best albums of 2002.
A live album is in the final throes of mixdown, and will be ready in the next few weeks.
Martin Turner has left to try his hand with the Wishbone Ash project that's been teasing him for so many years - best of luck from the band !
He is replaced by the legendary Jim Rodford - welcome, geezer ! Welcome, too, to Russ Rodford, who stands in for his much-in-demand dad - does a bloody good job 'n all !

"Every track from the rhythmic ‘NY Cab Ride’ and restless ‘4 Wheel Drive’ to the brooding ‘Mae’s Song’ has a terrific hook but it’s the way Mason switches tempo and moods that makes ALH great fun. " -- Diva Magazine
I just blogged it, but I'd like to put it also as a comment on your page. A fine and very little-known tune: J.T. Brown (with Fleetwood Mac and Willie Dixon) -'Black Jack Blues':
