Combine an American veteran bluegrass player and three top French musicians who all share a common passion for traditional bluegrass and country music -- with the accent on that bluesy, high-lonesome sound – and you get Blue Railroad Train. The repertoire is delightfully unpredictable and includes bluegrass and old-time classics as well as country, swing, and even rock ‘n roll tunes. They also have several original songs and instrumentals, all firmly rooted in the tradition.

France, Switzerland, Holland, Ireland, Denmark, Norway and the UK.
And for two years running Blue Railroad Train has toured the USA, entertaining concert and club audiences in Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. In 2006 they played five showcases at the IBMA World of Bluegrass and in 2007 they returned for the second time to Byron Berline’s Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival.
