Alternative rock, blended with Jah dropping reggae, ass shaking funk, and just a touch of hip-hop. Their unique blend of college reggae rock coupled with their consistently superb songwriting makes them a force to be reckoned with in the underground music scene. Blueshift has performed extensively in the Bay Area. They are currently planning a West Coast tour. Gig highlights include: Last Day Saloon, The Phoenix Theater, Time for Change Festival, the annual Sebastopol 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza, MILK on Haight St. in San Francisco, KRSH 95.9 sponsored events, and UC Berkeley. Their recently released debut album, Dirty Machine, at a whopping 15 tracks, has been well received. When asked about their wide range of musical influences, Blueshift responded, "Any music we feel passionate about naturally becomes an element of our own unique style. "
