OUR CD IS OUT!!! We've unleashed the Blue Tarp Dream EP on the world, and if you weren't there to get yours at the concert, just contact us and we'll work something out! We're working on getting our stuff on an online store, but for now you'll just have to be old school and buy a compact disc. They are available at Darvilles.
On the isle of Orcas, in the year of 2004, Blue Tarp had its humble beginnings, with six teenagers playing a simple 12-bar blues jam. At first only a project, the music played lit a spark in the players, and pushed them to evolve their skills and Blue Tarp itself. Now after 4 years and many changes, the band, the sound, is finally complete. The island Tarp has been unfolded, ready to fly in wind and rain and sunshine to come. For one thing has always remained through all of Blue Tarp's changes, and that is the never-ending need to ROCK!
hey guys, We saw that Hugo Helmer is having a battle of the bands. 1st place is 1000 dollars, 2nd is 750, 3rd is 500.. We thought about you and want you to get your cd over to them asap.
Sorry we didnt make the Neumos show.. We all wanted to be there. We were in the Redwoods on Sunday Night. Keep up the good sounds and we will see you soon.
Thanks for the comment man. I'm looking forward to the battle assuming you've all got enough time to get ready for it. Hope it all comes together. Peace. P.S. Has that recording of the Oddfellows concert been duplicated? If so I'd love to get a look at it. Fuckin badass show.
