Over the span of a 7 years, The Blunt Club has accomplished what all party organizers dream of: hordes of beautiful young people losing it on their dance floors, unparalleled street cred, a party circuit that now extends throughout the Nation, and resident DJs that are booked at countless club parties throughout World. The path was not paved with diamonds, guns, big name international DJs and glossy towel-sized flyers, nor with a website or message board to call their own, but simply by enthusiastic word-of-mouth promotion among an ever growing, always receptive circle of friends and acquaintances... peers, if you will……. Thanks to everyone that helped me & the crew make this shit happen over the last five and a half years, and all of the thousands of groups that graced our stage and felt the vibe! Here's to the next 10! TBC

..Club Red is at the SW corner of Loop 101 and University Drive in Tempe, right behind the Waffle House. Parking is easy for the first 300 or so, the shopping center holds that many cars. After that, there is free parking on River Drive, the first street to the West of the center.

Thursdays at Club RedThis year, the
Blunt Club moved from its longtime location, Hollywood Alley in Mesa, to set up shop at Club Red in Tempe. Part of
the reason for the move was that the Blunt Club founders wanted a change of scenery, but they also just plain
needed more room. Other hip-hop weeklies have hosted live music to decent-size crowds on other nights of the week,
but promoters know that Thursday nights belong to the Blunt Club and, let's face it, there's really just no
competing with them. Valley hip-hop lovers hit this weekly by the hundreds to hear turntable mash-ups from resident
DJs Element and Pickster Uno, fierce freestyle flows from host Emerg McVay, and performances from underground
up-and-comers on the national scene, like One Block Radius, One Belo, Aceyalone, and DJ Babu of Dilated Peoples.
Local artists like Drunken Immortals, Ill Al the Anglo Saxon, and Cousins of the Wize contribute to the weekly's
socially conscious, "one love" hip-hop vibe, and the evening overall encompasses a free-flowing, fully instrumental
community jam.

Hello music lovers!
Motown legends the Temptations will be at Prochnow Auditorium on NAU Campus this Saturday September 26th. Doors are at 7, show is at 8pm and its all ages. The Temptations are known for their plethora of hits including My Girl, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, The Way You Do The Things You Do, Beauty Is Only Skin Deep, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Cloud Nine, I Wish It Would Rain, Ball of Confusion, and I Can't Get Next To You to name a few.
Their show consists of a 23-piece band doing all the classic soul music you can handle.
Also, don't miss the Red Elvises at the Green Room on Friday September 25th. Doors at 8, show at 9. The Red Elvises play "kick-ass music from Siberia." Thie sound includes rock’n roll, surf, rockabilly, reggae, lounge and traditional Russian styles of music. Believing that one cannot go wrong with “The King” Elvis Presley as an inspiration and with “red” being not only their favorite color but the national color of their native country, the band name Red Elvises was created. Their show is not only rockin, but also pretty funny.
