The story of Blutonium Boy
has been an amazing roller coaster adventure for over 22 years.
He started his career in1986 in a very small city in Southern Germany and now
he has become one of the most respected Hard Dance DJs in the world.
With more than 150 releases on his label, Blutonium Records, and over fifteen
chart entries in several countries, Blutonium Boy has already become a legendary
club name. He also has achieved an astonishing feat. His name has been featured
on a combined 17 million compilations and records sold worldwide throughout his
15 years of producing.
He has been featured on almost all major international events around the globe
and has performed for companies like ID&T, Q-Dance, Ministry Of Sound, Art
Of Dance, UDC and many more. He has traveled the world visiting Sydney, Melbourne,
Cape Town, Johannesburg, Copenhagen, New York, Seattle, San Francisco and Los
Angeles. There is no major metropolitan city left where Blutonium Boy has not
performed and taken over the crowd by storm. Music is and will always be his first
love. Because of his hard work and dedication, it is safe to say that he is responsible
for a huge part in the development of the international Hard Dance music scene.
At 39 years old, Blutonium Boy is officially announcing that he will take a break
from the hectic weekly traveling and performances. His goal is to recharge his
batteries with fresh energy to come back with something very special. He has been
thinking about moving to a beach city similar to Los Angeles or somewhere on the
Portuguese seaboard to use the sun and ocean to get the right influence he needs.
While on tour in the United States during July 2009, he bumped into Little Louie
Vega, who is a two-time Grammy winning American DJ legend from New York. This
DJ infected Blutonium Boy with his Latin underground house rhythms during a set
at Club Deep at Vanguard in Hollywood. This inspired Blutonium Boy to scour the
Internet to find some live sets of Little Louie Vega. Since then, he studied the
unique Latin/Brazilian sounds of Little Louie Vega&8217;s definition of house.
Blutonium Boy&8217;s plan for the future is to combine both sound styles, to
come back with an unforgettable production within the next two years. He would
like to create an absolutely new and fresh hybrid between Hard Dance and Latin
House. &8220;Thank You Louie for such a wonderful inspiration, you are one of
the best DJ&8217;s I have ever heard in my life&8221;.
Blutonium Boy will be only available for a selected row of performances in North
America for the next two years until 2011. On 31 October 2009, Blutonium Boy will
play his last European performance near Brussels, Belgium at club Cap&8217;tain
together with his friend and DJ colleague, Jacky Core.
Together with his North American agent, Leo Corson of Corson Agency a.k.a. Used
& Abused, form Los Angeles; Blutonium will be helping to push the Hard Dance
scene in American starting on the West coast. From this point on, Corson Agency
and its&8217; subsidiary, Hard Dance Nation, will take care of any affairs regarding
Blutonium Media, North America.
Flarup, a famous Danish DJ/club promoter and Blutonium international artist will
take over Blutonium Media Germany/Europe. The name of the company will be changed
into Blutonium Enterprises and Flarup will then be responsible for all future
releases and the back-catalogue.
So watch out for Blutonium Boy in the future! Selected events will be shown and
advertised on www.blutonium.de!
