Bob Humid (also known as Robert Edwin Feuchtl Mato) is one of the most renown producers in the Cologne electronic music scene. He was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, but grew up in Germany for most of the time. He was one third of the Electronic Body Music / Kunstlied-Formation "Der Liederkranz" (with Frank Richerzhagen & Frank Weese) in the late 1980s and early 1990s, which tend to confuse Gothics with their nutty costumes and unexpected musical attitudes on a regular basis. He has organised & co-organised many activities in Cologne's electronic music underground including "Mos Eisley" (with DJ Tetsuo), "Twist'n'Shout" (with Uh-Young Kim), "Is It Now?", "Radical Love Area" and "Vectrax" (with Telekolleck). He has also run the two record labels named Bored Beyond Belief (1995 - along with Wolfgang Schreck from Big Noise fame) and Serve & Destroy Recordings.

He was also the technological editor for the German GROOVE Magazine for almost six years as a successor to Christian Rindermann (aka C-Rock) and he gained reputation in the German Keyboards / Sound & Recording Magazine where he worked as a technological author. Along testing studio & DJ gear he is known for being a producer with a strong affinity for detail. His work also spans towards Soundtracks for short-movies & Sound-Design for Pro Audio software products.
Over the years he has gained a growing reputation as a dedicated mastering engineer. Under the Credit of his own studio "Fat Of Excellence", which he runs together with Numinos, he mastered countless records for Boxer Sport, Mathias Schaffhaeuser's Ware Records, Pagoda London, Plasteline, Audiolith (Plemo, Der Tante Renate, Bratze), Patrick Alavi, Kitbuilders, Suburban Trash, Television Rocks, Dan Curtin and many other Indiependent-Labels and artists.
In 2009 he has also opened a little but respected school for audio workshops, dealing with topics from production, DJ-ing, mastering to DIY-synth-building or label-management.
As soon as the first intricate rhythms of the opener ‘Recycle’ hit the ears there can be no doubt anymore that there are persons behind the knobs knowing their stuff absolutely, however there’s no need to conclude the album’s going to be a mind-focussed matter at all. Regardless of these overlapping structures and sounds the tracks are nowhere near exhausting. Hallo lieber Myspace-Freund, seit der c/o pop haben wir nicht mehr die glitzernde Partysau raus gelassen und das Schwein scharrt ungeduldig mit den Tanzschuh- bestückten Schweinefüßen... Mehr als ein Grund, auch mal wieder eine für uns neue Location anzugehen und den langen gehegten Plan einer Gloria-Silberschwein zu realisieren. Das ganze noch in einer Nacht, in der es schon in den letzten Jahren zu heftigen Feiereien kam ;-) --> Halloween. Aber keine Sorge - wir veranstalten keinen Kostümball...
Ausser vielleicht die Herren LESCHET & WILDE, die ja bereits zur c/o pop wie Wesen aus den Tiefen des Ozeans wirkten und die ihr Konzert am Samstag wieder leuchtend bestreiten werden. Live-Techno mit melodien und Abwechslung ist angesagt... Ein Video wie das aussieht und wie es sich anhören kann findet ihr auf unserer Seite.
An den Wheels of Steel begrüssen wir erstmals bei uns "STEFAN SPEZIAL", auch bekannt als Herr Gubatz vom Raveline Magazin. Hier ist elektronische Tanzmusik ohne Stil-Diktat angesagt. Ausserdem ein mittlerweile schon oft- und immer wieder gern gesehener Silberschwein-DJ-Gast: ALMEIDA, der unsere Stadt mit seiner Agenda Suicide Party beschenkt und euch am Samstag die Leviten im 4/4 Takt lesen wird- hier ist Rocken angesagt.
IAuch Irwin Leschet wird in die Plattenkiste greifen - diesmal zu früher Stunde, denn er muss später ja nochmal live ran.

Hört sich gut an...der Mist ist immer nur die Garstige anfahrt von MG nach K :/ Sind dann mal eben knappe 20 Okken, die zum den restlichen Partyunkosten hinzukommen :/ WAs sich die Bahn diesbezüglich im Verhältnis zu Pünktlichkeit etc erlaubt ist echt schon knastwürdig... Aber G9 hört sich gut an...auch vom Sound (so hab ichs jedenfalls in Erinnerung). Fallse am 31 10 nix vor hast ; im Luxor ist die FICK IT (mit BassGrow, Randon,Drom,NiloMc und mir als Dubwobbler) würd mich freuen ;) Gruß, I.
