I was good friends with Tris for a while as kids in Hebden. Sneaking in to see Alien (aged 13), listening to Siouxsie, doing daft "comedy" tapes. A few years later I brought some friends to watch you at the ICA (NME 86) and he was the same as ever. Tris was a one-off - funny, kind and clever. So sorry to all of you who had the pleasure of his company for much longer than I did. x

Thanks for the add. I first heard Bogshed when you were on Vinyl Drip records (I was a huge fan of The Membranes).
Are there any plans to re-issue some of your back catalogue on CD? In the mean time I'll have to make do with occasionally being able to listen to Let Them Eat Bogshed and Step On It on vinyl. Mark
