Boilersuit are a melodic Indie rock band. Sixties beat as well as modern British bands are important influences, yet the band have their very own style and sound.
Innovative? Not really. Nice? You bet!
Playing live is what Boilersuit do best. Any time, anywhere. This road rage has taken the band to many prominent Dutch venues and festivals.
In May 2006 the 3-track CD 71 was launched on 3FM radio and the release was followed by shows throughout the Netherlands and very good reviews in the Dutch Music Press. In 2008 the band released The Bunker Tapes EP, again followed by great reviews and shows in famous venues like Paradiso Amsterdam. At the moment the band are playing throughout the Netherlands and preparing songs for a new EP, which will be released in the autumn of 2009.
Boilersuit have played more than 250 times in six years throughout The Netherlands:

Our Video: She's Not That Far:
Dutch press about Boilersuit:
Noord-Hollands Dagblad (news paper):
The End is a catchy tune with a pointy riff. It is an instant sing-a-long.
'71' makes you want more.
With 'She's Not That Far' Boilersuit have a go at writing the perfect pop song.
MusicFrom.nl (leading Dutch band website):
Well-made guitar songs which give you a sunny feeling. The songs are catchy and you can listen to them over and over again.
Website Kindamuzik:
Looking for a pointier sound than that of famous Dutch band Bettie Serveert? Try Boilersuit! They make nice and easy Indie rock songs. On '71' they present three catchy songs, which are simply great.
Pop magazine LiveXS:
Sometimes things can be very simple: You write three top tunes and record them. That is exactly what Boilersuit have done with their mini-album ‘71’.
Loes Schat’s touching voice is accompanied by brilliant, catchy guitar tunes. Really, nothing negative can be said of this EP.
The only thing lacking is more tracks, but that can only be seen as constructive criticism.
'The Bunker Tapes' contains five likeable, sometimes charming songs, which would do well on a college rock radio station.
Pop magazine Revolver:
It is always good to hear an EP that dwarfs many a full-length album.
