BOMB FACTORY

Bio:

The band BOMB FACTORY was formed in September in 1991 by brothers Jun-ya and Kazuya, with Joe and Shira. In 1994, after playing shows mainly in and around Tokyo.

The band was ready to release their 1st self-produced Mini Album, in June 1995 their 1st album EXPLODE OF A BOMBSHELL was released.
In 1997, Bomb Factory decided to found their own label, what was finally set up in June the same year. They named it MONSTAR RECORDS, following by the release of MONSTAR CUP STAGE 1.
Their own event HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE started in April 1999, the band is even now, still doing this event on a regular basis. In Autumn, they head off to Europe, to do their 1st EUROPE TOUR. Their music brought them from the UK to Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. While they were on the road in Europe, the 12inch HOW DO YOU FEEL was released in Japan. As soon as they got back they toured Japan, 1 month later their next release was coming up the self-named Mini Album BOMB FACTORY. And the tour continued.

In March 2000 the tracks EXCITER and DEADLY SILENCE BEACH were chosen for the Playstation2 Game DEAD OR ALIVE2. What made the band known worldwide, over night. 6 month later the next maxi single was in the stores BREAK UP. 16.000 copies were sold in within a couple of weeks, that brought the band back on the road and keeping on touring all around Japan.

In 2001 the band concentrated on their first album GO THIS WAY, what was finally released in January 2002. After the release tour the band hit the black-box again to record their next Mini Album FAT BOOST, released in Winter the same year. After many requests of waiting fans, the year later the band heads back to Europe to do 18 shows in Germany, Belgium and France. A label in France discovered the band at the festival ROCK OISE FESTIVAL, the band co-headlined. Their 1st release in overseas should happen in 2004, the album DISCORD, a compilation of FAT BOOST and the DISCORD single, which was released in 2003 in Summer. The band tours France in November 2004, while their 2nd album ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER LIFE is released in Japan, with a following 4 month Japan release tour.

2006 should be a year of many changes for BOMB FACTORY. They got offered to sign with SEA GREEN/TOSHIBA EMI. They did and 1 month later BOMB FACTORY found themselves in the studio for their first recording in a different label. The single SLICKDRIVE is out in stores July 19th, 2006. The band is already in the studio again to record their new album what will be available in November 2006, before that their 1st DVD will be released in September !!!!
