Formed in 2006, Debut album out late 2007, BONAFIDE has since played all over Scandinavia, showing off their own brand of Rock..n..Roll supporting Deep Purple, Status Quo, The Quireboys, Y&T and having played numerous summer festivals and clubs on their own.
The band; made up of renowned guitarslinger and singer extraordinaire Pontus Snibb, Bassplayer Mikael Nilsson, Guitarist Mikael Fässberg & drummer Sticky Bomb play like there..s no tomorrow. With a tight, stripped down production Bonafide manages to capture the very essence of what Rock should be all about: “Fun, Fun Fun, ..til your daddy takes the T-Bird away” (and throws away the key…)
Snibb, known for his work with American countryrockers Jason & The Scorchers among many others, again shows his skills as one of the most inspiring guitarists and singers of his generation. Guitarist Fässberg, who..s been cutting his teeth with ex Iron Maiden singer Paul DiAnno, vocalist Nicky Moore and Nazareth guitarist Manny Charlton, gives the band an aggressive kick in the rear end. Bomb & Nilsson proves to be the strong backbone, showing years of experience and keeping the beat harder than a direct hit from a ten ton hammer.
