    Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the add. Book Slam sounds like something we could use up here in Glasgow.
    Eagerly awaiting your next book,
    All the best,

About me:

..

Book Slam is the brainchild of Ben Watt and Patrick Neate. Ben is a writer and pop star, Patrick is a writer and pop tart.

Book Slam is London’s first/ best/ only literary night out featuring all the top writers, the finest live music and a semi-professional Serbian DJ. Our guests have included the likes of Zadie Smith, Dave Eggers, Adele, Nick Hornby, Kate Nash and many more. You should come.  It’s fun.

Ben has now moved on, but Patrick’s still there, variously raging against the machine and tilting at windmills. Fortunately the Book Slam family’s grown and they look after him. All the real work’s now done by experienced promoter, producer and pretty boy, Elliot Jack (everyone loves Elliott. Really they do), and Canongate’s very own Angela Robertson (whom Patrick first met at a drum ‘n’ bass show in Tokyo in 1997. Strange but true). Book Slam takes place at 12 Acklam Road on the last Thursday of every month. Sometimes it happens at other times and places too.

Fill out your e-mail address in the box below to join the Book Slam mailing list. You'll get a montly e-mail about what we're up to. And that's it.
