Oct.26th. Bootsy was born in Cincinnati Ohio, where he became a staff musician at King Records by the time he was 15. He then toured the world with Hank Ballard, & Marva Whitney. Then the hardest working man in show business Mr. James Brown
put out a Boot-Singnal and Bootsy and his band of funkymen went off to become the Original JB's. After being talk the one from the Godfather, Bootsy then went on to play with George Clinton, Parliament Funkadelic, and also fronted his own band named: Bootsy's Rubber Band. He then met Bill Laswell, and recorded with lots of Artist like Herbie Hancock, Keith Richards, Cyndie Lauper, Ice Cube, Africa Bambaataa, and then he recieved a video in the mail in 1991 and it was from a guy with a Bucket on his head who called himself BucketHead, Bootsy told the Total Psycho to come on in and they Recorded Bucketheads first Album called: BucketHeadLand, that was Bootsy's first studio and the first time he stayed in the woods with a Cereal Killer. Right after that Dee-lite sends a Boot-signal in the sky and Bootsy answered, then they recorded: "Groove is in the Heart" Bootsy says, those were some of his best times in life other than traveling across country in a station wagon full of Funkadelic's and Lady Freaks wanting to ride along just for the funk of it. And yeah, they got plenty funked up! Bootsy then hooked up with Snoop Dogg, the Chilli Pepper's, Phil Ramone, Eddie Krammer, Buddy Miles, Sammy Hagar, Keith Richards, Bobby Womack, you name um and Bootsy was in the mix. Then all of a sudden Bootsy along with Parliament/Funkadelic was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. In 2002 Bootsy recieved his first Grammy with his friend "FatBoySlim" (Weapon of Choice) now Bootsy is working on an upcoming album release entitled: ("N-Z-CLass)of-it's-Own," for 2010 release, teaming up with Tal Wilkenfeld, Thee-Ram-Jams, Scarface, Dennis Chambers,BucketHead, Bigg-D, Jim Jonsin, DJizzle,Raheem, Charlie Wilson, KanDee, P-Nut-311, Snoop Dogg, and other's to once again take back the special needs of the people and putting our finger's back up in the Cookie Jar. The new Single will be realeased: Nov. 27th. entitled: "FEEL-THE-REAL-DEAL" and yes my fello' Funkateers, THE GROOVEMENT HAS BEGONE, and it' on tha' ONE Baba!!
Also remember the "Fallen Soldiers Memorial CD, it was released on Nov. 9th 2008 Bootsy teamed up with Artist like Charlie Daniels and George Duke they paid tribute to the young Ladies & Men that has died in harm's way, so we say thank you all for the Ultimate Sacrifice.

King Records is on display as well, Bootsy got his start with James Brown there, Hank Ballard, Bill Doggett, Stanley Brother's, Henry Glover, Little Milton, exc, exc, and we had our very own Cincinnati Berry Gordy, his name was: "Sid Nathan", Bootsy's vision is to bring people together to communicate better and just have some real fun along with helping our youth in the developement of their Life skills, the music business and live instrument skills. If we continue to take Music and Physical Education OUT OF our SCHOOLS, WE HAVE TO REPLACE IT SOMEWHERE. We look forward in starting our music workshops, the MTV-Un-Plugged style jam session's, vocal, dance, poets, and instrument teaching sessions, along with building great speakers in our communitiesl. This is Bootsy, this is what he believes the funk is all about, passing it on & given it back!
Now back to "Bootsy's restaurant, we have a small live Stage and a small Studio on stage to Record some Special Jams, & Musical educational pieces, so if you hear any fuss, it ain't nobody but Us, jus gettin' down.

Bootsy note to you: Dig it yall, success with anything don't normally come easy, so practice on your skillz everyday, so that you will have a better chance at becoming the best, let your heart & your passion speak for itself, I believe in our youth and their creative abilities however, we all need some direction every now and then. You got some of the basic tool's to get started, so enstead of funkin' up, start funkin' down, in the basement, practice does make perfect, this is where your real feeling's can come out and play.

Wassup Funk. I was just checking you out on unsung and it hit me right in the face, I got this '' P '' on my chest in the early 70's funk'in on the one.
