BORDER OF INSANITY Border Of Insanity was founded summer 2003 in Nuremberg.The first band members have been: Vlad - Vocal and guitar, Sergej - Bass, Waldi - Drums. 2004-07 we played quite many gigs with bands like Xenotaph, Endstille, Soul Demise, Mechanix and many more. The first demo we recorded ,didn't sound too good and we never wanted to publish it later. A rough black metaller helped recording it. Maybe this was the reason, the sound wasn't really good. Nevertheless we were thankful with him then. The second demo was recorded in early 2006. It sounded better and we were even invited to a record label in Bochum. But the two sides couldn..t agree with each others conception
In spring 2006 the first band line-up splitted. The new members were called: Niko (guitar), Benny (drums). Benny also played with Lunatic Affliction and later also introduced Raph at bass. Just in same year..s august we recorded a demo, called "Demoralization". The sound quality was much better, because we already could make good records on our own. After one year this line-up unfortunately splitted. Raph had to go to USA due to his work and Benny became lazy. Yet Niko remained in the band some time but finally he also wasn't really interested to stay. He wanted to concentrate on his career at the firm he worked for as Internet-surfer as hard as possible.
Then Vlad decided to take a break to find better fitting people for his band. Just in spring of 2009 new members have joined together. Vlad met Gunter at a concert of a famous metal band and Gunter asked for playing together. Gunter and Vlad had already known, but fate just now wanted to put both guys together. Very fast Gunter found the rest of the insane crowd. That were female bass player Joanna, and a super drummer looking like a bear called Florian.
After few months of playing together seven new songs were written, and some gigs were booked in autumn.
The story of Border Of Insanity has just started!
