Boreal Doom (originally Boreal) is a Funeral Doom/Death Metal band, from Rio de Janeiro, founded by Pedrito H. and Luiz M.
The band's propose is a really "doom" sound, influenced by bands like Swallow The Sun, Shape Of Despair, Paradise Lost, Katatonia, Opeth and others.
About two months after the begining of the project, they released theirs first material, the demo named "Boreal Doom", after this, the band re-recorded the demo plus two songs, including a Katatonia cover, and released in the EP "My Sanity".
The band is currently pre-producing their debut album.

Our second full length album is now finish , it once again combine heavy and powerful metal music with clean vocals hailing from the roots of gothic rock.
It was mastered by Dan SWANÖ at Unisound studio ( Sweden ) .
We are looking for a label ready to help us nail down the project (CD manufacturing , promotion ,distribution).
