Ever wondered what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones? What if we carried it around in our purse or pocket? what if we flipped through it several times a day? what if we turned back to get it if we forgot it? what if we used it to recieve messages from the text? what if we treated it like we couldnt live without it? what if we gave it to kids as gifts? what if we used it when we traveled? what if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to make you go...hmm...wheres my Bible? And unlike our cell phone, we dont have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Knock knock! i knocked on heavens door this morning. God asked me 'My child, what can i do for you?' And i said ' Father, please protect the person reading this message.' God smiled and answered 'request granted' if you believe, R.I.P to my nephew... Lil Shane we will love you forever! I fought like hell for you the past couple of days... You are a legend. Please read my blogs for details on this tragic death. I LOVE YOU BABY! FEEL THE EXPLOSION!!! BOOM! Being born on the 4th of July, my parents had no choice but to call me a FIRECRACKER! They just never realized what a firecracker I'd really turn out to be. There's not enough memory on a computer for me to tell everything about me, all I've been through in life- the trials, the errors. Like most people I have had to live life and learn through my mistakes along the way. I have been blessed with 4 wonderful children, that I have raised alone for the past 12 years... those have been long, tiring years, but somehow through the grace of God we always managed, never went without and still had room to take in more along the way. They all know that I loved them as much as my own. Sometimes we dont realize our purpose in life for a while... We think we know all the answers, then someone changes all the questions. I been in promotions in the music industry since 2004, never exactly knowing why I chose this and what led me here until recently. I lost my 22 yo nephew easter sunday this year and it turned my life completely around. I have a new mission in life now and that is to reach out to as many lost people as possible. As tragic as it was to lose Lil Shane I realize how blessed he was to have that chance to call out to God in his last hour. So many don't have that chance and we never know when our time is coming. I feel in my heart that I have to do as God would want me to do and I think everyone should follow and lets get some positive messages back in the music industry. I love riding down the road with a great beat and great artist ... I love the talent, but it is bothersome that I cant play some of the songs when the children are in the car, or friends that just dont understand and hear only the negative words, but not the talent. Most of the rap music today is more like a nightmare fairy tale and not real life at all. Most of the artists seem to want to brag about killing, drugs, sex, bitches, ho's.... but in reality... they are some of the kindest, gentlest , God fearing people I know... Why are they not catching on and bringing positive messages to our kids? their own kids? I just pray that everybody can catch on and we can all come together and make the music industry a better place. Why God? Why not God.... He is the only hope we have and without Him we are helpless and all alone out here. I need His strength to carry me on and He has carried me long enough... It is time that I stand on my own 2 feet for what I believe in and give all the Glory To God........PS... I still love ketchup and still hate tomatoes!!!! Dont wake up one day and have your head right and your body fall apart.... Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift that's why it's called the present!!!
