DVNT started DJing back in 2003. His interest then, was mainly in nuskool breaks and drumnbass & jungle.
He has held residencies at T-Dance, Greenpeace Lincoln, and Eclectic Beats, as well as weekly residencies at The Attic and Bar Ingo of Lincoln as well as playing pretty much every venue in his Uni city.
In 2007 he debuted at his first festival; Hamswell. He's a current regular at the fund-raising Oxjam gigs in Bristol, Brighton and Southampton organised between Out of the Void and Brap FM.
MANTIS radio kicked off with DVNT at the helm in May 2007, and the last two years has seen DVNT develop the distinctive DJ sound best described as darkfloor electronica.
DVNT's sets combine elements of techno, electro, breaks, dubstep, glitch and ambient into a fresh and irresistable flow, with leanings towards the darker and deeper textures of electronic music.
Each MANTIS radio show has also featured guest showcases from established or up and coming producers. Previous guests have included Galaxian, Gunjack, Horror Brawl, Paul Blackford and Si Begg.
DVNT's extensive archive of past radio shows is well worth checking out for some storming darkfloor electronica action
High quality audio transmissions, right on the button.
He's had guest mixes aired on nsbradio, Resonance FM,and Pointblank FM.
Alongside DJing, DVNT helps manage the midnightminustwo (mmii) record label. mmii "drops everything from ill to chill", with a roster of artists which includes James Fox, OG and Paul Holmes.

New Album "OQTO/Bass,Space&Beatz(STAD-001)" OUT!!on 3rd-Dec.
OQTO, born in Fukuoka, living in Kanagawa/Japan. Been in the scene since the abstract and electronica were banging. Has experienced living in Europe&India, the raves and dub sound system culture there that he is a realistic guy as a master of music. Joined the compilation of Club Asia, dedicated tunes for Ryuichi Sakamoto's project, 'Stop Rokkasho' and been making tunes colored as Dubstep since 2006, what he is spreading out is the organic sound surrounded by lots of spacy synthesizer with the low drum and rough confusing beats. His work has been lifted up for twice in the UK scene by BBC/Mary Ann Hobbs and also been a regular of the underground radios such as Sub FM and Brap FM. Owns the independent label "BASSAB", he has played with Goth-Trad, DJ Tsuyoshi, Tokyo Zawinul Bach and many more. In Dec '08, his new&hoped-for album appears from the exclusive Japanese Dubstep label, "Steppin' Ahead" with the first formal packaging that will be praised for sure.
