A chick band that rocks! Hollywood style rock 'n' roll chock full of loud guitars, hooks, melodies, and all the head-bobbin,' butt-shakin,' sweaty, shameless fun that's been missing for all the years you've been listening to those old tapes and wondering what ever happened to good music. Here it is - Brainspoon is bringing back the rock!
Brainspoon can be loosely compared to Elastica, The Breeders, X, The Primitives, The Ramones, The Bangles, L7, PJ Harvey, Veruca Salt, The Donnas, Blondie, The Kills, Juliette & the Licks.
A little bit punk, a little bit garage, a little New Wave - and a whole lotta Rock 'n' Roll... We in Brainspoon just want to write and perform the best songs we can put together - and who cares where that takes us, because we love what we do!
Brainspoon is fronted by a female lead singer and a female singer-guitarist (we know you like that!). We also put on a rockin' live show...yes, indeed.
We're based in the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas of California, which is where we have played most of our shows. Global Brainspoon is our goal!

I'm applying for visa to come to live and work in the US.A., even though I'll live in Pennsylvania, it will be a lot easier to plan a trip to California to see you ! I hope everything is ok for all of you.
