'Blessed with youth and bucket loads of enthusiasm. They drive their ska-punk harmonies home with a powerful brass section, and get their young fans' feet moving from the word go.' (Paul Benton, Evening Telegraph)
'They write about big themes such as the BNP,friends with severe issues and take an anti-corporate stance.' ... 'They are genuinely diverse and I look forward to the release of their album in September.' (Lisa Parker, Band Republic show @ LSE)
Brassphemy are a 5 piece Ska/punk Band formed in 2004, their catchy music threw many fans up onto their skanking feet. They have played a large part in the recent and undeniable Ska revival. The band consists of Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Trumpet & Saxophone and their music is very much built on catchy riffs and cheeky brass harmonies. All of these lads have had years of experience on the stages of Peterborough the UK and further afar as individuals including Germany and America. Brassphemy went on a UK tour last summer playing in over 30 venues around the country and were particularly well received in the Cavern, Liverpool. Brassphemy have finished 2nd in Peterborough’s Battle Of the Bands just behind Peterborough’s finest "The Ruined", won their way onto floats, recording sessions, Riverside festival 2007, Sky TV with big brother celebrity Pete Bennett and been broadcast on BBC radio as far as Japan. Brassphemy have supported many large bands from around the world including The Specials, The Beat, The King Blues, Anti-Flag, Zebrahead, Sonic Boom Six and Jesse James. Brassphemy will also be playing the world famous Secret Garden Party festival this July. Show your support today for some happy brass and celebrate 30years of Ska this year down at the main stage. Hello, I'm just sending out a reminder that due to the nature of the festival site, this event does have limited capacity ... we will be selling only 2000 adult tickets - buy soon to avoid disapointment. Tickets purchased at the gate (if still available) will be more expensive.
So grab your tickets in advance from our website -
