Breakbread Entertainment, is an independent hip-hop/ rap label, established in 2004. Based out of North Minneapolis, MN, Breakbread Entertainment is the home of The Breadsquad; a group consisting of individual artists including Swiff Taktix, AV J.O.E., Double R, Ill Noyze, LB, Jae Smiph, Hulk JR, Sir Ben AKA Ginni Guce, CashFlow, Gunn Street, Fresh Mall and Bad Guy. Since 2005, Breakbread Entertainment has had four regional mixtape releases in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area. Those titles include "Tha Breadbox" (2006), "Breakbread/Bad Company - Till Death Do Us Vol. 1", "Back In Tha Breadbox" (2008) and " Breadcrumbs Vol.1 Mixtape" (2011). All mixtapes display the versatility of talent amongst the roster. Collaborations include Dead End of GB Undisputed and Stroh and Que of Got Bread Ent. Breakbread - The Compilation is the first retail album release from the Minneapolis based label. It is currently available for digital download on iTunes and scheduled for regional retail store release by mid November. Breakbread Entertainment is ran by Co-CEO's Anthony "AV J.O.E."
