Brewery Records is run by roots-pop tunesmith, Walter Clevenger. In addition to releasing albums by Walter Clevenger & The Dairy Kings, the label released the double-disc tribute to "The Jesus of Cool" entitled LOWE PROFILE: A Tribute To Nick Lowe. 2006 saw the signing of two great bands to the Brewery Records family - The Tickets, who sound like Squeeze meets Rockpile and Sugar Mountain, who play straight-ahead Faces/Stones inspired rock 'n' roll.
2007 will see the release of the brilliant follow-up by The General Store. The General Store is the brainchild of Tam Johnstone, son of Davey Johnstone (Elton John's guitarist since 1972). The second release by this UK artist entitled, Mountain Rescue, will absolutely floor listeners with its blend of West Coast sounds. Fans of Neil Young, The Flying Burrito Brothers and The Beach Boys will want to pick up this amazing release.
