Welcome to the Official Myspace Page for Brian Ellis. I have a lot of stuff going on this year! I have a bunch new albums I'm working on. My band Astra is near completion up our album "The Weirding", which will be released by Rise Above Records in Jan of 2009. I'm also working on an album for Porter Records, featuring Dave Hurley on drums, Zach Hogan on Bass, Rahsaan Davis on Bass and Russ Cobbe. It's going to be a very Magma/Miles Davis/Sun Ra inspired album, scheduled to be released in March 2009. This will soon after be followed by a collaboration album with the legendary Byard Lancaster!! I couldn't be more excited.
I've been playing keyboards live for The Egyptian Lover and working in the studio with him and Egyptian Empire records. A vinyl release of my new electro/disco/hi-nrg album "YELLOW LIGHT DISTRICT" is also planned for release in January 2009 on Record Label Records.
Be sure to check out my group PEA. It's the future of music.
My album, "The Silver Creature" is out now on Benbecula Records! It's available to buy from most major online retailers, as well as for download from bleep.com I've made 2 music videos to promote the album, and you can check them out right here!
