I am a multi Instrumentalist, I began playing playing music in 1988, Strongly influenced by my family. My grandfather played the organ, and grandmother sang. They didn't have television, so entertainment in my grandparents house was music, gospel and bluegrass standards mostly. I was also strongly influenced by my father, also a multi instrumentalist and his unique tastes in music, from Brian Eno, and Echo and the Bunny men to Buckwheat Zydeco and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. I never really was interested in the "Main Stream" of anything.
I started playing in my 1st bands in middle school in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania in the late 80's. I continued to play music through out the 90's in various cover bands. in 2005 I began writing for my 1st solo album (Anywhere But here) and in mid 2007 I moved my base of operations to Tucson AZ, where I wrote and recorded my 2nd album (Awakening).
I have played w/Tucson Bands, Affirming The Consequent, Gaza Strip, and Most recently, The Gary Bonnett Band, and Black Tuesday. I am always looking to jam and learn more about music. Keep your eyes open in early 2010 for my 3rd album Tentatively titled "Lot's 0 Loops".

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.

Happy Holidays to you. Be well. I've read that the holidays can be very depressing to some. If you know someone like that, share this with them :)
1 of the most effective "natural cures" ever documented (really) 4 depression...
Have them stand in front of a mirror...smile...bigger...no, even bigger...that's it...an honest to goodness ear 2 ear smile! Look at you...standing there...strong...powerful...nothing is impossible for you...no limitations...you are the earth...you are the sky...and they are you...now, laugh...bigger...one of those gut bursting, side hurting, deep belly laughs...that's it. :)
We've got two very different shows coming up in the next five days: Hot Buttered Rum and Misfits
Saturday Nov 14 An Evening With Hot Buttered Rum at the Orpheum. Initially formed as an acoustic string band, seven years of constant touring has transformed Hot Buttered Rum into a plugged-in, percussive powerhouse that wows critics and fans alike. Their left-coast rock reveals an access to jazz, country, and world music that few groups can match. While the band's music belies simple categorization, its songwriting and stage chemistry delights listeners at every turn. Doors at 7, show at 8. All Ages. Tix are only $12 advance/$15 day of.
Tuesday Nov 17 Misfits with Hour of the Wolf, Moonlight Howlers, and Awaken the Nightmare. Misfits are the original horror punk band. Original members Jerry Only and Robo play bass and drums, and guitar is covered by Dez Cadena, originally of Black Flag. Doors at 7, show at 8. Tix are $22 advance/$25 day of.
Also coming up soon: 12/2 Voodoo Glow Skulls with Fayuca @ Downtown Greenhouse (Behind Green Room)-All Ages 12/31 New Years Eve featuring Xtra Ticket w/ David Gans @ Orpheum-All Ages 1/17 John Gorka @ Coconino Center for the Arts-All Ages 2/15 Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime @ Orpheum-All Ages 4/23 Greg Brown @ Orpheum-All Ages
We're back at The Hut this Saturday December 5th sharing the stage with another world music and roots-reggae influenced band -Planet Jam- who'll start the evening at 9 pm.
Hope you had an awesome holiday weekend!!! If you like the music get the full CD "Change is Good" available now @ http://www.jacobtylerlucas.com or click the link below to download your favorite songs on iTunes!
