自我介紹

關於我:

.. Whether you know me or not, my name is Brian Weidemann; and, depending on the folks around me at any given time, I will be called Vitaminn B, Brimaxian, BriMiWei, or --and this is the shameless plug--
..Brian M. Weidemann, The Band...

I'm a musician who focuses primarily on writing and recording, not so much gigging or putting myself in the proverbial "out there". I have produced eight albums on my own, in my own home studio, on my own time, with my own efforts, for free. Album nine is in production and will be complete before 2008 hits the calendar, and that's a promise! Check out ..some of my tunes.. if you're interested in seeing what independent music can sound like.

I'm an ironically unabashed introvert, yet I can hold my own in serious intellectual discourse or Napoleon Dynamite quotes. I can channel Ayn Rand just as easily as Beavis & Butthead. I play guitar and piano with years of music theory behind me, I wield a mean pen, pencil, and brush, I haven't used a standard mouse in years because of my Wacom tablet, and I will beat your Minesweeper score into the ground if you challenge me. I love chess, cheese, wit, backrubs, and vocal harmonies. Mostly the harmonies. I have a girlfriend, too. I suppose I have to love her, as well.

Stay tuned for information on how to obtain your own legal copy of my new music! If you're sharp or flat, you won't get the info. (The current new music is the 2007 album Scantily Clad Singularity; all the others are already more or less available for your obtainage ... Just look at this Snocap store!)

I've written more serenades for females than should legally be allowed before a restraining order is filed. But that's all in my past. They're not serenades anymore, technically, but females indeed tend to be the "inspiration", one way or another.

This is my webcam feed. This is my webcam feed displaying whatever-the-heck was in front of the webcam at whichever time is displayed. Any questions? On occasion, however, I use the camera's capabilities productively.

我想認識:

I very much like whom I've met and I don't need to collect any more associates or acquaintances. I'm content just chillaxin' with the people already in my life. And they know who they are.

TRIANGLEMAN is now available at bandcamp.com, where you will very soon be able to purchase music from Triangleman written as far back as 1999. So far, we have 6 new albums available for partial streaming and soon for download for only 75 cents per track and only 6 dollars per album. Available cover artwork is included along with the albums. So all you fans out there, this is your chance to hear EVERYTHING and your chance to own the complete set (batteries sold separately). And not far off at all will be the second set of digital download releases, the Triangleman Archive Volumes, encompassing songs written as far back as 1991! MORE NEWS!!! Soon I (Jonathan Tyndall) will submit a tape to Myspace records to compete for a Myspace Record Contract. I will keep everyone informed of the details, and would appreciate all the help I can get. You can help by adding my songs to your profile!! That would make me cry I would be so happy!! Love, Jonathan Print cube

Oh, and I figured you would like that song, since anyone with good taste in humor would :)
  • 2008/12/12 17:54

I rewatched that movie the other night. I haven't seen it since I was really young (and probably shouldn't have been watching it).

Anyway, needless to say, I was not expecting him to break out in a song about penises. I almost had a mouthful of coffee come out my nose when he said the first line haha.

Yeah, I initially intended to keep this myspace round confined to people I know in person, just because of all the silliness with strangers last time. And then I realized you never caused any silliness, so I should add you. And I did. Sorry I didn't do it sooner. It really didn't occur to me until we chatted not too long ago on facebook, but since I always do myspace THEN facebook for my daily routine, I would be past that point and forget about it until the next time I was on facebook, and then the cycle would begin again. It was a short cycle. But yeah, it was kind of refreshing to just be myself without worrying about keeping up the pretense that I'm cool. So, the secret's out now. I'm not cool after all. And we can be myspace friends now that you know the truth.

And the quote's Jorge Borges, from the story "Pierre Menard Author of the Quixote." It's amazing. He deals in probabilities in a lot of his work. You'd love him. Check him out, if you haven't read anything of his yet. He's a very mathematical writer.

When I have the map, I will be free, and the world will be different because I have understanding of....digital watches.

That was the first time I saw that movie. I highly enjoyed it. Especially John Cleese as Robbin Hood! I got a good laugh out of that part.

  • 2008/9/23 01:43

Oh BTW I dont know if you were ever into MST3K but the people who were on the show now make audio tracks to play along with the movies (basically MST3k without the little shadows on the bottom of your screen)

The one they did for Transformers had my in tears the entire time...
  • 2008/9/23 01:37

  • 2008/8/17 22:35

Actually I'm not. Starting with the 3rd movie I was disappointed so since I expect absolutely nothing from then now, I could care less.
  • 2008/8/14 07:00

I've been on this constant TMBG kick for about three weeks now. Somehow I finally found myself listening to Flood the other night. Why I didn't put that one on first I dunno.

Wii is just sitting there for now. I weened myself off Mario Galaxy and Dr Mario. I did go out about a month and 1/2 ago to look for Mario Cart to no avail (thank goodness!). This summer has picked up steam for me so I haven't had too much time as of late.
Once fall hits, I'm snuggling back up to it :)

Wiifit: so I shouldn't race out and get one just yet?
