Broken Robots were formed in 2004 by Mark Woodward (vocals/guitars) and Damion Bridson (vocals/guitars) and joined by Annie Parsons (vocals/piano/) early in 2005. They became a four-piece in Autumn 2005 when they were joined by Chris Eaves (drums) and then a five-piece when they they were joined by Annie's brother, Ben Parsons (bass). Their sound has been described as 'a dreamy, delicious wall of noise...eerie, yet sexy', and 'like a Beach Boys for the cybernetic age'.
Broken Robots have now set up their own independent label - Landscape Records - their debut e.p. will be the label's first release.

Broken Robots are also contributing to a Red House Painters tribute album, due Spring/Summer, 2006.
Inbetween recording their debut e.p. and album, the band will be playing gigs in the UK, followed by a short US tour in 2006. More details to follow soon.
