Brooks Tegler, a drummer/Band leader/Producer, living in the D.C. area, leads jazz groups of various sizes, anything from trios up to 17-piece big bands. (This includes authentic WWII Army Air Force Band.) He works all over the world.
Brooks can also be seen on nearly every sculpture panel of the WWII Memorial in Washington DC (he was the primary model and organizer of all other models for scenes depicted), and can be heard in numerous voice-over projects.

Brooks plays on over a hundred albums, including eight under his own name (5 of which he produced) and many from Europe and Japan. “It’s Been So Long” (recent) won the 2004 Wammie Award for best Jazz/Swing category. Brand new CD "That's It !" is Brooks' first release of entirely Big Band material with guest appearances by MANY great players/friends.

Hi Brooks! Your CD, "And Not Only That", is one of my favorites. How did you get such a beautiful warm & natural sound on those horns? Breathtaking. Of course, Danny and John P. are simply amazing. I've been known to sing "I've Got A Way With Women" at the top of my lungs around the house. Please keep up the fine work.
