Formed in summer '07 on Guernsey by Paul (Limefire, Mechanical Lobster) and ex-Guitarist Jonny, Brutus Stonefist have the sole intention of writing riffs to make your hair stand on end, beatdowns that make you wanna run through brick walls, and breakdowns so brutal you won't even notice that your best friend just smashed your neck....
A band made up of mostly musicians from other local bands, Mark Mercier ( Astral Casket ), and Nick Schofield ( Firefly ) Brutus Stonefist have a varied taste and take inspiration from all types of modern metal.
Brutus are currently focusing on writing as much and playing live even more so.

This FDR-IDAY sees yet another wonderful ‘Funk Da Rock’ event back at the HALF MOON café commencing from 7pm - 12:15
There will be a DRUM BATTLE extraordinairre showcasing a first of its kind on the island with compares from the Asylum Seekas MC’s and beat-boxing from 9mm. DJ Four Q will also be delighting the crowds with his cutting and scratching skills merging this event!
Entry is a mere £5 and all proceeds go towards the Mines Awareness Trust
