Hi... I'm J Ryan and it's been my life-long dream to own one of the most recognizable icons in film and automotive history. The Back to the Future DeLorean time machine.
Built in four months, the time machine effort was not an easy one. Months of prop building, years of parts collecting and a lifetime of research have culminated into an extremely accurate representation of this mobile movie star.
Starting with a low mileage, 5-speed, grey interior, 1982 DeLorean... Danny Botkin and the team @ DeLorean Motor Company CA brought this original condition car back to life, morphing it into a reliable daily driver prime for conversion candidacy.
Upon it's return to us in near new condition, we did what anyone else who just spent a fortune restoring a classic automobile would do... we started breaking glass and ripping it apart. Actually, it wasn't bad. It wasn't too bad at all. The entire build went very smoothly as you'll see in the photo section.
Years of research and hands on access to the original film cars helped make this (according to Kevin Pike, builder of the originals) one of the best examples out there. Remarkable care was taken to capture the look, feel and essence of the original. Wherever possible, the actual aircraft surplus was procured and the original parts were used. The original time machine was an extremely detailed piece of movie machinery and this example is no different. From what they tell me... "The Devil's in the Details."
This BTTF Time Machine replica was built as a hobby of the heart... to fulfill the childhood fantasy of owning this marvelous machine. Accomplishing this has been a very satisfying task. The progress of which, has provided a source of overwhelming joy for my friends and family...
However... due to many, many requests the BTTF Time Machine is now available for parties, corporate events and all your film, television and commercial needs. The car is based in Los Angeles but we are happy to travel to your location, wherever that may be. I am an entertainment industry veteran with 12+ years in film/television production, I'm very aware of a shooting company's needs and am willing to do whatever it takes to get the shot.
The BTTF Time Machine has been featured on several TV shows and recently drove NBA MVP Kobe Bryant to the NIKE Back to the Future Hyperdunk sneaker launch @ UNDFTD in Santa Monica.

Hey man i really like the DeLorean.. i have been looking for one myself.. i am not wanting a perfect one but i am looking to mod everything into what you have already done.. i have been using your pics as reference for my plans on creating one.. how did you go about getting a DeLorean. ?? i am trying to find one farely cheap compared to the 15k to 26k that i have been seeing everywhere
