My brother's unreleased album... So so so good
Just a girl from Miami, singin' and sewin' in Nashville, and surfin' in water way too cold.
Buick has two brothers, one in blood and one in soul; Both in heart. They are Boey and Levi, respectively. Levi looks like her twin, but, no. Boey is the Real Deal. Her best friend is a pretty girl named Eliza Jane, who is rivaled by none in the categories of Bad Ass and Fun. Buick has a musical family and magical friends. Every single one of the aforementioned folks has made it into her music. Buick is working on 3,000 projects at all times, in random rotation... With quick breaks to dance around her little house, Fort Knockout, which she is slowly painting to match a roll of Smarties, chromatically speaking. Sadly, her home is where flowers go to die. This breaks her heart, as she loves daisies and roses beyond explanation. In lieu of Real Life flowers, she draws them all over her stuff, including the dresses she makes. It all works out in the end.
Her full time job is doing her best to love those around her. And figuring out how to tell them that. Not just in songs.
Also, she really, really loves Michael McDonald. She's gonna tell him first chance she gets. Oh yes, she sure is. Stay tuned for the raging duet that will inevitably ensue.

Singer,
the debut full-length release by Buick Audra, out now!
After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...
Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?
