Musicology Biography Of Ken Kruse, AKA Bukez Finezt, AKA DJ Chaffa
......He, born 1985, is one of Germany's best kept secrets.
He began his journey into music in the mid 1990's, 1997 to be precise, he began producing styles such as Rap, Big Beat, Breakbeat, and moved into Drum and Bass towards 2000, he now produces and plays out Drum and Bass under the alias Chaffa and has grown a renound following in his local city and region.
Ken's younger brother Phil (AKA POK) set his brother on a life changing route when he offered Ken a chance to DJ at local parties and clubs he had organized playing alongside DUBOUT, a close friend of both, from here Ken..s repertoire grew, rapidly!
Ken Kruse AKA Bukez Finezt AKA Chaffa can now be heard around the world (UK, USA, Scotland, Holland, New Zealand, Israel, Russia, Poland, France and many more) at all thriving underground electronic music parties, festivals, clubs and radio shows!
Having well over a decade of practice and expertise in computer generated electronic music production, his skillset has become well rounded and this is unmistakably clear in his work and tunes! Lately he has progressed from producing Drum and Bass, and has made a huge impact in the world of Dubstep! One feat of his work is having his music played on a wide range of net-radio stations such as www.Sensimedia.net, www.Dubstep.fm, www.Subfm.com, http://www.deepbassnine.com/radio/ and countless others! Also he is signed with various labels as they are: Barish Records, BassPunch Records and Tuff Love Dubs, to name a few for now!

Zum Abschluss des Jahres haben wir jemanden ganz besonderes eingeladen um die Hütte in Schutt und Asche zu legen – Bassface Sascha wird uns beehren! Dieser darf von sich behaupten, der Drum'n'Bass Pionier Deutschlands zu sein. Ausgehend vom Mannheimer Milk!-Club erzeugte er zusammen mit Holger "Groover" Klein 1992 eine wahre Break-Beat Hysterie im Rhein-Neckar-Raum, die schon bald Frankfurt (XS-Club) erreicht hatte. Ein Jahr darauf spielte Sascha auf der Mayday mit dem Milk!-DJ-Team das allererste Drum'n'Bass-Set bei einem deutschen Megarave.
Seine Gigs führen ihn um den ganzen Globus und hierzulande ist er ein fester Bestandteil großer Drum'n'Bass und Tech-no-Events, darunter wohlbekannte wie Love Parade, Rave City in München, Euphoria in Frankfurt, Meditation, Future Nights.
Auch im Radio ist Bassface Sascha regelmäßig präsent. Auch als Gast-VJ war er bereits mehrfach bei MTV , VIVA und GIGA-TV zu sehen.
Der Style/Sound, den Sascha als DJ auflegt ist schwer zu umschreiben, da sich Drum'n'Bass auch schneller verändert als jede andere elekronische Musikrichtung. Fest steht aber, daß Sascha mit über 17 Jahren DJ-Erfahrung eine ganz besondere Technik beim Mixing hat, die an Professionalität kaum zu überbieten ist.
1994 gründete Sascha das Label Smokin' Drum Recordings, als eigene Produktions-Plattform sowie für (damalige) Newcomer wie Skeleton Rock (Bassline Generation), Paderborn Killers, DJ Redoo, Maya u.v.a.
Schon 1997 wurde Smokin' Drum nach 20 Releases bei den "Future Music Awards" zum besten deuschen Drum'n'Bass Label gewählt und Sascha erhielt dort auch die Auszeichnungen zum besten nationalen Produzenten, sowie zum besten nationalen DJ des Genres. <bR/>
