Band MembersEnchanted Gordon came into existence at the Big Chill's Enchanted Garden festival, circa 2000, in a psychotropic fusion between the Manchester-based writer, journalist and DJ, Ally Fogg and a Mr Scruff cartoon. EG is still a loyal member of the Big Chill family, is a regular compere on their Sanctuary Stage at Eastnor Castle, and plays sporadically at their bar in London.

Misty Phil: doublebassplayingveggiecaferunningcoolsoundsspinningcycleridingguinnesswillinghomebrewconcoctingeverchilling..... mistyphil joined the cafe del M12 team in mid 2003. Can be sighted regularly playing around the live music scene in Manchester, either with "the sun collective" or just jamming it out....

The Other Two: soon come.

InfluencesThe Shake 'n' Vac ad. And some other stuff.
Sounds Likeone of those dreams where everything's calm and beautiful and then suddenly you're naked in front of a Women's Institute meeting and the audience all have pink wigs and Peter Mandelson's face. Or maybe that's just me.

   About Cafe Del M12
ALLFM 96.9 (Manchester) & www.allfm.org.... Sundays, 11pm - 1am

One balmy summer's evening back in 2002, Enchanted Gordon wandered in through a broken door in a back alley in Longsight M12, and found himself mired in the web of ALLFM 96.9, Manchester's original and best community radio station. After about 20 minutes training he was on air with a show called - in a moment of passing whimsy he's been regretting ever since - the Cafe del M12.

We've been on air late Sunday evenings ever since. EG presents roughly two weeks in four, with Misty Phil and The Other Two sharing the lurve once a month.

We serve up a variety of bittersweet cocktails of downtempo, ambient, electronica and aural oddities. Over the years we've had sessions, interviews, exclusive mixes and live sets from the likes of Boom Bip, Matthew Herbert, Ulrich Schnauss, Alucidnation, Robert Lippok, Slovo, A Guy Called Gerald and countless others.

There are always some new tunes, always a few classics, and always a few curveball surprises.

If you check it and enjoy it, please let us know.

Peace.

xx

Videocrash 3!
with Hexstatic (live AV) vs The Nextmen (live AV)
plus The Anomolies + DJ Cheeba (AV) + more tbc
8 - 3 Sat 6th June '09
£15 adv
www.ticketweb.co.uk

For the third installment of the now legendary Videocrash, London's biggest and best dedicated Audio-Visual event, we have lined up a truly ground-breaking affair, with the undeniable kings Hexstatic and new challengers The Nextmen as well as some of the finest up-and coming talent in this, the coolest up-and-coming night-club experience.
Having absolutley killed it at the previous 2 Videocrash nights Hexstatic was an obvious choice to invite back to Koko, and in looking for an act to match up to them The Nextmen were a clear option, with their live showcase and excellent turntable skills. To make it all that bit more special, and to fit in with the theme of the occasion, Hexstatic will be providing a visual accompaniment to The Nextmen's set! Awesome. Throw into the mix the fruits of our quest into the world of AV to find some of the hottest new talent in the field, and the result is an evening that will blow Koko's bass-bins and your minds with a kaleidescopic mix of sounds and sights.

All Girls are straight up lying when they say that size does not matter, I got proof.
Heads up here for you guys, my best friend Pete has been getting all the girls at school and work after he has not had a girlfriend in the past 2 years. I asked him if he is drugging them or whatever so he told me his little secret. He has been taking these tablets, Copy and paste this address into your browser BOKIG.COM to see where he gets them from, they made his little magic stick grow almost double the size it was in about 2 months and he says it is still getting bigger.
I thought he was kidding around so I investigated a little bit into it and sure enough I found nine bottles of the these pills under his bed and to top that off, his 2 brothers are now taking them too, I don't know, but I am thinking now of buying them for you know who.. I know it sounds shallow but after seeing the results, it is hard to not do it.
I am telling you I have all the proof needed that they work, the place you order them from even guarentees that they will work on any guy or they give you what you paid right back. Don't pass up on this one guys, it is 100% confirmed and for real. Get them while they are still available by Going here Just copy and paste this address in your browser. BOKIG.COM

Hello Cafe Del M12,

I'm DJ'ing at the forthcoming "Rite Of Spring" event at Baskerville Hall, near Hay-On-Wye on Fri 23rd March (9-10pm).

Organised by the Green Man Festival, it promises to be "2 days of weirdness in the Black Mountains."

The party takes place inside the intimate settings of Baskerville Hall and will run from Sundown to Sunrise each night. Entertainment will come from guest DJs, psych folk cinema and silent films with live music accompaniment. Witches and druids will also be on hand, alongside pagan puppet shows and holistic therapies.

Entry tickets are priced at £60+ for the weekend, with a range of special accommodation offers within Baskerville Hall, from sunken baths to bunk rooms, or fend for yourself in the nearby town of Hay-on-Wye.

More details below:

"The snows have cleared, the rain has eased and the first daffodils are peeping through; it's time to celebrate the coming of Spring. On 23rd and 24th March the Green Man returns to Baskerville Hall, for a Rite of Spring party, with 2 days of wine, witches and song in the Brecon Beacons.

On Friday 23rd, King Arthur Pendragon will perform the opening ceremony and raise the curtain on a feast of music and films, mystics and freaks, as the flower-bedecked Hotel becomes a circle of Equinox appreciation. Far from the madding crowd, the Rite of Spring is a chance to commune with nature and friend, under the welcoming arms of the Black Mountains.

The music starts at 6.00pm on Friday and finishes at 6.00am on Sunday. In the Folkey Dokey bar, over 20 DJs will be performing, with live music in the Cinema to a background of rare and gothic film. In the Hallway, pagan puppetry looks at the roots of the green man, while the Literature Room explores the history of psychoactive mushroom use. The Hotel grounds play host to the twelve members of the Neighbourhood Witch, who invite you to join the seed planting ritual.

When the music stops, take a stroll through the castled Hay-on-Wye, dine in a Country Inn, or follow the pilgrims' trail to the monastic ruins of Llanthony Priory.

The line-up is finalised and looks a lot like this....

Gruff Rhys (SuperFurryAnimals)
Youth & Simon Tong (Butterfly Folk Community)
Andy Votel & Dom Thomas (B-Music)
Fence Collective (inc. King Creosote)
Cherrystones (Poptones)
The Earlies
The Peth (feat. SFA members)
Doug Shipton (Battered Ornaments)
Luke Insect (Laughing Windows)
Jumble Queen (Spinning Jenny)
Pete Fowler (Monsterism Island)
Justin Spear (Freakzone)
John Stapleton (Evil Kitty)
Lol Hammond (Drum Club)
Geoff (Static Caravan)
Jonny Trunk
Rob McDowall
Jon Hopkins
