Calamares se formo a mediados del 2005, una propuesta fresca desde Cancun, para toda Latinoamerica. Lanzaron el sencillo Robot con videoclip, realizaron una pequeña gira por ciudades como, Monterrey, DF, Playa del carmen, cancun, Villahermosa, Coatzacoalcos y merida, sin embargo y debido a la salida de Memo y actividades que no les permitia seguir juntos, tomaron un receso que aun esta indefinido.
Participaron en la produccion de un disco Tributo para iberoamerica llamado quiero ser el ultimo de la fila, editado en Peru y lanzado a varios paises, anteriormente lanzaron un Ep que contenia canciones como ROBOT, ATOMICA, LINFATICA Y UNA VERSION REMIX DE ROBOT.
