First, the universe was created. Then, Alex and Josh were born, but I don't know who was first because I don't know their birthdays. I only play drums. Then I was born, and then Emily was born. Alex and Josh went to the same primary school and so did Joey and Emily, but unlike Alex and Josh, who regularly fraternised at their poshboys school, Joey and Emily didn't ever meet, although Emily secretly stalked Joey because he was a hot 5 year old.
Fast forward about 11 and a half years: Joey is a pimp, Alex and Josh are still school chums, and Emily is unknown by all. How she came to be in the band is the object of much speculation. Legend has it that in a call to a sexline by Alex who was awfully frustrated in that way, she answered and he immediately thought "what a great voice" so he asked her to be the singer and she agreed.
Fast forward another few months and the foursome are struggling for a name. Joey wisely suggests "Midnight Pancake" but is shockingly rejected by the others. Mister Black was then put forward by Alex, but vetoed due to the non-emo nature of the band. The band finally decided on Alex and the Heterosexuals, but due to copyright issues the name was finally amended slightly to Major Major.
And that brings us to the present day, when the band are banging out tunes like horny dogs and are about to explode onto the world like a North Korean nuclear test.
We won the UCS Battle of the Bands and this is just the first step in our ascent to amazingness.
The biggest band of the next 12 months? Almost Definitely.
Having said this, after 12 months of regular gigging and accumulating a fair few fans, recording a 3 track EP and a music video for hit 'Betty Barracuda', the band has gone their seperate ways, to Nottingham, Bristol and Finchley. Relative success was reached and we thank all those who supported us, came to the gigs and played our CD to their friends.
Dont rule out a one off in the future.
