The lively musical style of Calliope House is rooted in Celtic, old-time and folk traditions. Coming from different bands that had been part of the traditional music scene in Oklahoma City since the mid 1990's, Calliope House banded together in 2003. Calliope House's “Merry Sisters” bring their collective spirit and musical experience to audiences with delightful camaraderie.
Equally cosmic and powerful Merry Sisters of Calliope House! We love and admire all of you too, and we deeply appreciate the support and enthusiasm you have so generously extended our way. Please let us know when the next gathering will take place in Shawnee!
Oh...Dear Sisters, Thank you so much! How happy and delightful our time together at the Celtic Oklahoma Festival. My feeling is of warm, bright sunflowers blossoming and the morning glories spiraling up to greet them cherishing ever the growing love and synchronicities of all of our sweet and delicious hearts. I look forward to seeing you really soon. Amber
Looking forward to this year's Med Fair in Norman - The Merry Sisters of Calliope House, aka The Medivas - (thier bohemian alter egos) will perform and jam the entire weekend. CH's New CD, "Within the Fire" ROCKS!!!
